Your media files stay on your computer. The desktop library holds local file references, progress, reading positions and game playtime. This website does not scan folders or access the desktop library.
Metadata enrichment may contact providers with title searches or media identifiers. Providers may receive network information with those requests. The final provider list and request behavior will be documented before public release.
02 / Optional account & sync data
Accounts and web sync are not active in this pass. The planned model keeps local use available without an account. Only explicitly selected profile or aggregate data should be synced; local paths and media files are excluded from the public profile model.
03 / Optional public data
Passport, Canon and recap publishing will require explicit selection and confirmation. New sharing settings must default to private. Nothing becomes public automatically when you create an account or use the desktop app.
Published information can be copied by other people. Revoking a public page can remove it from Bloatshelf, but cannot guarantee removal of third-party copies.
This website today
The site includes no analytics, advertising trackers or account cookies. Demo changes stay in page memory. Recap data is processed in your browser and exported locally; there is no upload endpoint. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process network request and security information as part of delivery.
Before online services launch
A finalized policy must specify the operator and contact details, stored fields, retention periods, account export and deletion, subprocessors and security practices. Until then, do not submit private library data to this website.
